Tsumugi Patch Released *UPDATED*

UPDATE: Translator’s notes are fixed. Run the patcher again with “Translated Dialogue” checked, if you ran the patcher before now.

It’s finally here! Testing, editing & QC are all done. With that, the Tsumugi route is now available to read. Head on over to the Downloads section of this site and download the new patcher. Your old one from when the Shiroha patch released MIGHT work, but I’d just play it safe and download the new one to be sure.

For returning users who have already used our patcher to read the Shiroha route: Run the patcher, have the “Translated Dialogue” and “Translated Images” boxes checked, apply the patch.

For new users, do the same except have all 4 boxes checked when applying the patch.

Thank you everyone for your patience in waiting, and we hope you enjoy the route! Keep an eye out on our Twitter @alkatranslation if you have one, as that’s where progress on the next patch will be posted, and any feedback/questions/comments can more easily and quickly be addressed. With Shiroha and Tsumugi behind us, we look to the future that is Sorakado Ao! Stay tuned.

Mugyu!

First of all thank you for your hard work you guys are amazing to put time and effort into this game but may I ask you something. I just finished kamome and shiroha route and currently I am in tsumugi route. Yesterday I accidently load kamome route the first time I play it was all in jap but now it all in eng not all but it back to eng at some point I just want to ask you how and why that happen
Because after that happen I re install the game and patch. Kamome route is no longer in eng

You likely downloaded the patch during the period of time when a little TOO much of our progress was uploaded into the patch. It got fixed afterwards, so all of our partially translated bits went back to Japanese when you re-patched the game.

Thank you so much for your great translation work! I can hardly imagine how much time and effort went into this project.
Just wanted to share some pictures I took this summer on Ogijima (a little island north of Takamatsu, Shikoku). When I went there I actually didn’t even know that this island was one of the most influencing places for Summer Pocket’s Kotorishima. But I was kinda surprised how much everything reminded me of that Opening movie and some visuals I’ve seen so far. So I decided to check out the VN when I came back and was really happy to found your patches.

1.) Approaching Ogijima in the Setouchi Sea, it was in the middle of the rainy season but at least it was only cloudy that day.

2.) Climbing to a little shrine just over the small village.

3.) One of the hundreds of cats relaxing at the Torii

4.) Most streets on Ogijima are kinda steep and narrow, taking a bike might be the fastest way to get around.

5.) Looking back to the ferry. It connects Takamatsu, Megijima and Ogijima every two hours. It takes about 40 minutes and just 510 yen one way.

6.) The essential lighthouse is located at the northern end of the island, 30 minutes by walking from the village.

7.) One charming old house , you can already see Megijima to the left

I heard you must play by order shiroha>ao>kamome>tsumugi.. Is it okay to proceed this game while i just finished shiroha, and jump to tsumugi route?

    • Rinny says:

There’s no order you “must play” only recommended orders, which is up to opinion. If there was a route you shouldn’t read without reading a different route first, the game wouldn’t let you do that route until you’d finished the other one. You’d be locked out until then, plain and simple. Doing our release order is fine, doing any order you want is fine.
