Hey everyone, Kitaro here with this month’s monthly status report! A lot has happened this month so let’s get right into it with Reflection Blue news!!
With Tsumugi’s Route being the last major route up for re-translation/editing, Log has found himself in quite the conundrum of needing to get the route done but also needing to have time to get said route done. So for this route, we have taken a different approach to get the ball rolling and keep it barreling towards the finish line by bringing on our resident Eagle Eyes Bazett for the job of reading through the route and catching any grammatical errors, as well as pointing out suspect lines for Log to look at for re-translation! This will hopefully keep the steamrolling on the Reflection Blue train and make the release a little more timely! Please look forward to it.
Next up is an update on Prima Dolls, because yes I have still been working on it! The progress is steady! I have found myself in a fair share of IRL events recently, however that has not stopped me from working hard on getting Prima Dolls out there. With the recent announcement that they will be slowing down the production of the stories, I will be focusing on trying to get everyone up-to-speed hopefully very soon. With all of the first 6 books totaling about 10k lines of text in total, it might take me a while, but I’ll be releasing them by titled segments rather than all at once so you’ll be able to read some of it soon! I just need to add some of the last edits onto “Anpan and the Automaton” and Part 1 of Prima Dolls will be out in English!
In regards to the Summer Pockets Side Stories that had started so long ago, they are now nearing completion. There was a snag in the editing process for these as we worked together to try to make it consistent with our current RB versions of the translation, so after I finish up the editing on the Ryouichi Side Story, we’ll release the last four all at once! We are sorry for the delay on those, but they’ll be out very soon for all to enjoy, thank you for your patience.
And briefly, on Kud. Saito can predict the future and didn’t get much done on Kud as life threw him a fastball, so not much got done there. That being said there should be more from him next month regarding the progress of Kud, so please stay tuned for that!
Outside of that… there is nothing much else to report on for the Blue Team! Emerald Team will be having an update soon, there have just been hold-ups in the development process! Someone told me that I won’t be able to make use of the Kud Wafter English patch because I’ve got the PS Vita version of the game. Is that true?
Any idea how well the Reflection Blue translation will gel with the Summer Pockets Steam version? Will they be compatible? I only own the Steam version right now and was hoping to find out if I would need to buy anything extra to enjoy Reflection Blue
